Hello and welcome to our web page! We are a group of students and graduates from Timisoara, Romania and we think that being
young in our society means more than just going to school or having a job, it means you can take a stand, you can
make thinks happen. Our name is Grupul pentru Libera Afirmare Sociala which means The Group for Free Social Assertion,
but you can call us G.L.A.S. We are a NGO, an independent, non-profit organization, without political or religious purposes.
The main goal of our association is the assertion of multiculturalism and interdisciplinarity in the fields of education,
research and culture. The G.L.A.S. Association is trying to bring its contribution in shaping of the civic conscience within
young people in these countries because of the insignificant role civil society holds here. We exist as an organization since 1999 and so far we have done a lot of projects and we were present to many partipations that you can see here, on our web site.
